How to leave a review

There are two ways. First, straight from a deal on the site once the buyer has confirmed delivery: both sides can write. Second, as a message in the review thread of the community Telegram chat: the bot picks it up and publishes the review on the site automatically.

A deal review on the site

This review is backed by the deal itself: it is visible that a purchase happened and how long each step took.

When you can After the buyer confirms delivery. Such a review is published immediately.
Both sides write Buyer about seller and seller about buyer: a walked-away order hurts a seller as much as a silent seller hurts a buyer.
A cancelled deal A review is still allowed, marked "deal did not happen". It is published after a moderator checks it.
Timings cannot be faked How long a seller stayed silent and how long shipping took are computed from the deal marks themselves.

A review in the community chat

This is how reviews were gathered long before deals moved onto the site, and it still works.

  1. Open the review thread Reviews are only picked up from the review thread in @waifucards_chat. A message posted anywhere else will not reach the site.
  2. Mention the person with @ The @ takes a Telegram username, not a site nickname. The review goes to the profile that Telegram is linked to. Without a mention the message is ignored — that is the only hard requirement.
  3. Stars are optional The rating is the number of ⭐️ in the text, up to five. They are not required: with no stars the review counts as five.
  4. Mark the type if needed The #покупатель hashtag marks it as a review about a buyer; the word for "swap" marks the deal as an exchange.
  5. Attach photos Photos are welcome; an album of several shots counts as one review.

The rest is automatic: the review appears on the site and both sides get a notification. The same message is never counted twice.

Who to mention, and what may be forwarded into the thread:

A review of the service itself — @waifucards Mentioning the project files the review under WaifuCards rather than a seller: those land on the project page.
A review of the chase-card workshop — @wfcraft The workshop is a separate thing, so its reviews are gathered under its own mention.
You may forward your own reviews If you already wrote a review about a seller or buyer elsewhere, forward that message into the thread — it will be counted.
Reviews about yourself — no The author is whoever posted the message in the thread, so forwarding a review about yourself does not work: ask the person who wrote it to do it.

Where reviews are shown

Both kinds add up into one reputation.

On the profile A seller profile gathers reviews along with deal counters.
On the user card A short summary opens by clicking a nickname — in chat, in search, in listings.
On the project page Reviews about the service itself live on the About WaifuCards page, filtered by rating.

Common questions

I posted a review in Telegram but it is not on the site
Copy the link to your message and send it to the bot in a private chat — it will try to add the review if it went missing. Only links to messages in @waifucards_chat are accepted. If that does not help, check two things: the message must be in the review thread and contain an @ mention.
Can I review without a deal on the site?
Yes, through the community chat — that is how swaps and off-cart arrangements get reviewed.
How do I give less than five stars?
In a Telegram review, put the desired number of ⭐️ in the text: three stars mean a rating of three. In a deal review you pick the rating in the form.
What stops someone reviewing themselves?
A deal review requires a completed deal with two sides, and a chat review is visible to the whole community and tied to the author account.
