A full list of the files the site stores in your browser, and what each of them is for.
Cookies are small files a site asks your browser to keep so it can recognise you on the next request. Alongside them we use browser local storage — technically a different thing, but the same idea, so we describe them together here.
There is no per-group switch on the Site. A cookie notice is shown at the bottom of the page on your first visit, and pressing “Accept” records that you saw it. Continuing to use the Site means you agree with this Policy and with the Privacy Policy, whether or not you pressed the button.
If you disagree, do not use the Site. That is not a figure of speech: the account, the cart, collections and anti-fraud protection do not work without the files listed below. Refusing them selectively while keeping the Site working is not technically possible — as on any service with a sign-in.
Without these the Site does not work or stops being safe: you would not stay signed in, your language and currency would not be saved, and the “I am not a robot” check would not pass.
| File | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| jwt | 30 days | session: keeps you signed in between visits |
| prefs | 1 year | anonymous device identifier: security, rate limiting and abuse prevention |
| cc | 1 year | a note that you saw the notice at the bottom of the page and pressed “Accept” |
| lang, wcl, googtrans | 1 year | interface language and translation mode |
| market, geocur, georeg, geocc | 1 year | selected market, currency and region for prices and the seller list |
| wc_intro | 1 year | the first-visit window has already been shown |
| _GRECAPTCHA (домен Google), SMARTCAPTCHA (домен Яндекса) | up to 6 months | the “I am not a robot” check on sign-in, sign-up and form submissions; the second one is set only if the fallback captcha is shown |
Anonymous visit statistics: how many people came, where from, which pages they use and where the interface breaks. We look at it to decide what to fix first.
| File | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| _ym_uid, _ym_d, _ym_isad, _ym_visorc (mc.yandex.ru) | up to 1 year | Yandex Metrica: traffic, referral sources, interface errors |
Attribution of clicks on affiliate product links: they tell the affiliate network that the buyer came from our Site. Such files are set by the network, not by us, and only after you click the link yourself.
| File | Lifetime | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| метки партнёрских переходов (epnclick.ru, aliexpress) | up to 30 days | attribution of an affiliate click on the network side — set on its own domain after the click |
Most of the files listed are our own (first-party): the Site sets and reads them itself. The files of Yandex Metrica, Google reCAPTCHA and Yandex SmartCaptcha are set by those services; they are independent controllers and process data under their own rules. What we share and with whom is in the Privacy Policy.
Every browser can block cookies entirely or for a single site — usually under “Settings → Privacy”. The same place lets you delete them.
Be aware: blocking essential files stops the Site from working — you will not be able to sign in, and the cart, language and currency will reset on every page. That is not our whim, it is how signing in to any internet service works.
The list of files changes along with the Site. This page is generated from the same list the code itself uses, so it cannot go stale unnoticed. The date of the last edit is at the top.
