Site Rules

Version of 17 September 2026 · This document is maintained in Russian. The English version is a convenience translation; in case of discrepancy the Russian text prevails.

WaifuCards is a service for card collectors: a catalogue of sets, personal collections, a virtual gacha and a marketplace where collectors sell cards to each other. These Rules are the agreement between you and the administration of the Site (“the Administration”) on the terms of using the Site.

By signing up or continuing to use the Site you accept these Rules in full. If you disagree with even one clause, do not use the Site.

1. Account

• You may register from the age of 14. Paid features require parental consent if you are under 18.
• One person — one account. Second accounts are prohibited; how they are detected is described in the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. Sharing access with third parties is not allowed.
• Your username and profile content must not be misleading, impersonate another person or contain someone else's contact details.
• The Administration may change a username that breaks the Rules or contains personal data, notifying its owner.

2. What is prohibited

2.1. Severe — ban without warning

1. Creating several accounts (multi-accounting).
2. Any abuse of the Site's features or of bugs in them, as well as hacking and farming.
3. Any automation of actions on the Site (bots, scripts) other than automation approved by the Administration and the official API used with an issued key.
4. Deceiving or misleading other users or the Administration.
5. Breaking the law of the Russian Federation or international law.

2.2. Economic violations

1. Deliberately crashing the card market (dumping).
2. Selling cards deliberately bought for resale or acquired on Chinese marketplaces (Ali, “fish” bundles and the like).
3. Farming the in-game currency (waifucoins).
4. Transferring waifucoins between accounts by any means. The exceptions are a transfer through the Administration and paying part of an order in coins at the seller's rate within a genuine deal. A deal arranged in order to move coins is still a violation.
5. Listing virtual cards obtained by you or another user by deception.

2.3. Content and behaviour

1. Marking cards “For sale” that you do not have.
2. Marking cards in “Wishlist” that you are not ready to buy right now.
3. Using avatars and images with explicit sexual or offensive content.
4. Listing outdated contact details (Telegram, email, channel).
5. Impersonating another user or listing someone else's contacts.
6. Failing to report to the Administration an abuse you found that may harm the project.
7. Insulting or harassing other users, sending spam or advertising third-party services in direct messages and channels.

2.4. Deals and orders

1. Creating fake orders — deals with no intention to buy or to ship.
2. Inflating the number of deals, confirmed sales, reviews and ratings, including by agreement with the other party.
3. Using deals to move waifucoins between accounts: the rate and the coin share apply only to a genuine sale of cards.
4. Confirming receipt of an order that was never sent to you, and failing to confirm one you received.
5. Placing an order you knowingly do not intend to pay for, and systematically abandoning orders already assembled for you.
6. Demanding terms that were never agreed, and extorting a discount or other benefit by threatening a review, a rating or a complaint.
7. Insulting, harassing or pressuring the other party in the order conversation.
8. Changing agreed terms retroactively — contents, prices, shipping cost and the coin rate after the other party accepted them.
9. Backing out of a deal after payment without returning the money or coins received.
10. Abandoning a deal: not responding on an order you took on for longer than a reasonable time.
11. Stating shop terms you do not intend to honour.
12. Using the other party's address, name and contacts for anything other than that delivery, or passing them to third parties.

3. Marketplace and deals between users

The Site is a venue, not a party to the deal. Cards are sold and bought by users themselves, directly from each other. Money for cards never passes through the Site: the parties agree on payment and shipping between themselves, while the Site provides the showcase, the cart, the conversation and the order status history.

• The Administration is not a seller, buyer, agent or guarantor and is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, condition or shipment of cards.
• A placed order is your agreement with the other party. The agreed contents, price, shipping method and deadlines must be honoured.
• A deal review must reflect what actually happened. Reviews and ratings must not be used as leverage.
• The Administration may help resolve a dispute: it holds an immutable snapshot of the order and its status history. Such a decision is not arbitration and is not binding on the parties, but it does affect the measures taken against a violator.

4. Virtual items

Waifucoins, shards, crystals, virtual cards, packs, badges, frames and other in-service objects are interface elements, not money and not property.

• They are not electronic money, are not exchangeable for money, cannot be withdrawn and cannot be transferred between accounts (except where expressly allowed).
• The right to use them exists while the Site and your account exist.
• Gacha drop odds are published on the set page and in the “Box” dialog and match the settings of that particular set.
• Virtual items obtained in breach of the Rules are voided together with their consequences (listings, rewards, ratings).

5. Paid features

Subscriptions (Pro, Premium, Max) and in-game currency top-ups are paid for on a separate payment subdomain. Payment terms, the scope of services and the refund procedure are set out in the public offer and on the refunds page. Where these Rules and the offer differ on payment matters, the offer prevails.

A ban for breaking the Rules does not refund the unused part of a subscription and does not compensate in-game currency.

6. Your content

Everything you upload and write — descriptions, avatars, backgrounds, card scans, messages, cardlists, reviews — remains yours. By publishing it on the Site you allow the Administration to store it and show it to other users within the Site's interface, and to use it anonymously for running the service (for example, a card scan as the image of that card in the catalogue).

• You are responsible for having the right to publish that content.
• The Administration may reject, hide or remove content that breaks the Rules or the law, without explaining every individual case.
• Uploaded scans go through moderation; an approved scan earns a reward whose size is set by the moderator.

7. Rights to card images and catalogue content

Card images and the names of sets, characters and titles belong to their respective rights holders. The catalogue is informational and exists to track collections; the Site claims no rights to those images and does not sell them. A rights holder may request removal of material by writing to admin@waifucards.app.

The catalogue structure, the Site's texts, interface and source code belong to the Administration. Copying them, scraping the Site's data automatically and building similar services on top of them without permission is not allowed. If you need access to the data, write to us: the Site has an API and the Administration issues keys for it.

8. Violations and measures

The measure is chosen according to the severity and repetition of the violation:

• a warning;
• removal of a listing, review, scan or other content;
• voiding of granted currency, rewards and ratings;
• restriction of individual features (selling, chat, publishing);
• an account ban, in severe cases without warning;
• account deletion — only for gross or repeated violations.

The Site may restrict access automatically if it detects signs of abuse. An automatic restriction is not a verdict: write to support and a human will review it. Appeals are answered within 30 days.

The Administration may apply measures at its discretion where it believes a user's actions harm the project or other users.

9. Availability and liability

• The Site is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it running, but do not guarantee it: maintenance, failures and unavailability of individual features are possible.
• The Administration is not liable for losses arising from deals between users, from the Site being unavailable, from the actions of third-party services, or from a user losing access to their own account through their own fault.
• The Administration is not responsible for the content of third-party sites linked to from the Site.

10. Changes to the Rules and to the Site

The Administration may change and supplement these Rules unilaterally and without separate notice. A new version takes effect when it is published at waifucards.app/legal/terms; the date is shown at the top. Keeping track of the current version is the user's responsibility.

New features fall under these Rules automatically. The Site evolves: sections, features and services appear, change, merge and close. Anything that appears on the Site after this version is covered by these Rules from the moment it appears, and no separate consent is required for that. The Administration is not obliged to keep any feature, section or content and may restrict access to them — either for everyone or for an individual user.

Closing or changing a feature does not in itself create an obligation to refund money or to compensate virtual items, except where expressly provided by the public offer and by law.

Continuing to use the Site after a new version is published means you agree with it. If you disagree, stop using the Site.
